JAZZ ABZ

Illustrator Paul Rogers and musician Wynton Marsalis collaborated on a book project that is both an introduction and a tribute to 26 jazz greats from A to Z. The book is bound in the style of an old 78 rpm record album. The kraft paper die-cut front flysheet was designed to resemble a record sleeve and a kraft paper pastedown in the back of the book was printed with an illustrated “Recommended Listening” list. Included are short biographies of each musician and a guide to all 26 poetic forms used in the book.
