ELIZABETHTOWN

Vinyl Films called to gauge my interest in working on a book with the more-than-famous writer and film-maker, Cameron Crowe. Let’s just say that an hour later I was on the studio lot to discuss the project. Cameron kept a journal during the making of his film Elizabethtown and wanted to create a book that followed the journey of the shoot and also reveal the ingredients that go into the complicated mix of movie-making. We edited 8,000 images in every existing format in order to create this 128-page book. And met the six-week deadline. With the inspiring visual and editorial material, matching images with words (picking pull-quotes for every spread) was part of this totally awesome and fast-paced adventure.
