FOREVER YOUNG

An anthem written by an icon—transformed into a children’s book. The objective was to create a contemporary visual narrative describing the lyrics of a timeless song. The concept was based on the folk music tradition of “passing it on” that inspired Bob Dylan’s early years. For this project, Paul Rogers’ illustration style deliberately echoed children’s books from the late '50s, the time when Dylan was coming up. Included in the illustrations are people, places and things that have defined Dylan’s life and work. Notes in the back of the book identify the visual clues in each spread; insightful, and a cool way for kids and their parents to connect.
